Customized Evaluations For Adults

Specific Learning Disorder – Mathematics

• Presenting Concern: Difficulty with tasks and assignments related to mathematics.
• Tests to provide more information on strengths/weaknesses, including mathematical reasoning, numerical calculation, and fluency.
• If the adult has no previous testing or has a more complex presentation, we may include additional tasks to assess cognitive processing skills and speed, as well as attention, executive functioning, and social emotional concerns.

 Specific Learning Disorder – Reading

• Presenting Concern: Difficulty with tasks and assignments related to reading.
• Tests to provide more information on strengths/weaknesses, including reading rate, fluency, accuracy and comprehension.
• If the adult has no previous testing or has a more complex presentation, we may include additional tasks to assess cognitive processing skills and speed, attention, executive functioning, and social emotional concerns.

 Extended Time Recommendation

• Presenting Concern: Difficulty completing assignments, tests, quizzes, and exams within the standard timeframe.
• Tests to provide more information on strengths/weaknesses, and ability to process and respond efficiently to information presented.

 Attention/Executive Functioning

• Presenting Concern: Difficulty sustaining attention, avoiding  distractions, and/or planning/organizing that is hindering academic progress.
• Tests to provide more information on whether criteria are met for an attention disorder or executive functioning difficulty, as well as understanding processing style and social-emotional concerns.
