On-Site Speech-Language/Hearing Screenings At Your School

Are your students experiencing difficulty with any of the following:

  • Following directions
  • Pronouncing sounds or words correctly
  • Using correct grammar
  • Speaking too loudly or too quietly or with a hoarse or nasal voice
  • Frequently asking to have things repeated

Speech-language and hearing screenings are offered on-site and are an affordable and convenient way to assess the progress of your students’ speech, language, and hearing development. Screenings are conducted by a speech-language pathologist and help to identify children who are falling within the typical range of development as well as identify those in need of a more comprehensive evaluation. Parents will receive written feedback specific to their child following the screening procedures.

Screenings are available for children three to six-years old. Speech-language screenings take about 20-minutes and hearing screenings take about 10-minutes. Cost is $35 for speech-language screening and $25 for hearing screenings. The speech-language screening includes evaluation of the following areas:

  • Voice
  • Articulation
  • Fluency
  • Social-Pragmatic Language
  • Receptive Language
  • Expressive Language
