Philosophy

Tutoring is for learners of all ages and can provide intervention, support or enrichment. Our tutors use metacognitive learning strategies to help students at any age understand their own learning style and become independent learners. Our tutors offer a diagnostic/prescriptive approach that allows them to look at both formal and informal assessments to determine a student’s needs, and then to determine the best strategies to use based on the pattern of strengths and weaknesses observed.
