Denika Mason has been a certified educator for 18 years and works for Montgomery County Public Schools. Currently, she is also a school counselor at an elementary school in Rockville, Maryland. She received her master’s in counseling at Loyola University Maryland and is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) as well as a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC). Denika has extensive experience working with children and teens in the areas of anxiety, depression, mood disorder, autism, social skills, and emotional regulation. She utilizes cognitive behavioral and play therapy approaches. It is her desire to work with children and adolescents to help them develop the tools and skills they need to be adults who can successfully manage their lives and regulate their emotions.
