Genevieve DeWitt received her Masters of Education in Professional Counseling at The William Paterson University. After graduation, she pursued counseling in the school setting and has been a school counselor for Montgomery County Public Schools for the past eight years. She is a Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC) and a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC).
Genevieve has assisted children in successfully managing challenges such as depression, anxiety, behavioral difficulties, self-esteem, and family and peer issues. She gravitates towards theories that focus on awareness and change that is in the hands of the client. She does this through a person-centered approach and believes in building rapport to foster trusting relationships.
