Meika Billings Dopwell, M.S. CCC-SLP, is a Lead Speech-Language Pathologist licensed to practice in Maryland. She has worked in multiple settings and gained extensive experience treating adults with dysphagia, aphasia, and traumatic brain injury. Meika also has expertise in treating children with feeding difficulties. Furthermore, her interests include providing culturally responsive care, supporting transitional youth and adults in community-based programs, and using educational technology to help individuals learn. She enjoys working cross-functionally with other professionals to support clients and their families. Meika is passionate about lifelong learning. She has received three Awards for Continuing Education from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Throughout her career, Meika has strengthened her skillset by receiving training in Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Phonetic Targets (PROMPT) therapy, Sounds in Motion, Thinking Maps, Hanen It Takes Two to Talk parent coaching, Sequential Oral-Sensory Approach to feeding (SOS), and Orofacial Myology.
