Rules and Disclosures
Winner will assume and be responsible for all travel expenses and meals other than those detailed as part of the raffle package; some package items are subject to limits and the winner is responsible for additional travel expenses including but not limited to gratuities, incidentals, transportation to and from activities other than transportation included in the package, and local, state, and federal taxes, including but not limited to all applicable sales, use, luxury, income, and special taxes associated with winning a raffle. TLC specifically disclaims all expressed or implied warranties, including without limitations warranties of merchantability. TLC is not responsible for any losses or injuries suffered as a result of the vacation prize.
Purchasers of tickets, by participating in the raffle, release TLC, its directors, officers, and agents from any and all liability, loss or claim arising out of any raffle prize, expressly waive any such claim and agree that the liability, if any, of the TLC, its directors, officers, and agents shall be limited to the raffle ticket price paid. TLC makes no express or implied warranty as to the Raffle prize.
Any and all disputes, claims and controversies concerning this raffle shall be submitted to and resolved by binding arbitration, to be conducted under arbitration rules in the state of Maryland. Raffle tickets purchased from a nonprofit organization for fundraising purposes that may result in a prize/winnings are not considered deductible for tax purposes. Funds raised in this raffle contribute to our mission and TLC greatly appreciates this support.
Winner(s) agree to allow TLC to share contact information with third-party vendor(s) providing the amenities, and to publish their names and photographs on TLC’s website, social media, and TLC publications.
