Andrea Theis

Andrea Theis is a dedicated therapist who recently completed her Master of Social Work at the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She brings hands-on experience providing individual and family therapy using evidence-based models such as CBT within an attachment-based family systems framework. In addition to CBT, Andrea supports her clients using DBT, ACT and IFS informed approaches. Andrea has worked closely with adolescents and young adults facing challenges including ADHD, autism, anxiety, depression, and self-harm. She also has experience supporting young children in a nursery school setting, where she fostered early social-emotional development through play-based and relational approaches. Her compassionate approach, combined with training in crisis stabilization and therapeutic modalities, equips her to support children and families with empathy and clinical skill.
