Jairo Diaz, LCPC

Psychology Associate

Jairo Diaz is a bilingual (Spanish) Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and Registered Psychology Associate in the state of Maryland. Mr. Diaz’s past educational experience includes a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Rehabilitation Counseling from Thomas University. Upon completing his graduate education, he primarily worked with Spanish-speaking youth in a school-based setting, as well as in a crisis stabilization program at Sheppard Pratt across Montgomery County, Maryland. Additionally, he focused on providing trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) to youth across various age ranges.

Seeing a need for Spanish-speaking youth to have access to psychological testing and assessment, he began attending The Chicago School’s Clinical Psychology program, DC campus in pursuit of a doctoral degree. He is currently beginning his 3rd year in the program and hopes to specialize in evaluations for autism, ADHD, and learning disorders for children, youth, and adults. In his free time, he enjoys video games, indoor and outdoor skydiving, martial arts, and spending time with his dog.
