Kris Schwarzkopf, LGPC
Kris Schwarzkopf is a Licensed Professional Graduate Counselor who earned a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School in Washington, D.C. Kris brings a strong foundation in behavioral therapy and skill-building, developed through experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician and as a clinical intern at TLC, where Kris provided individual, group, and play-based therapy.
Kris has worked extensively with children of varying ages and ability levels, including serving as a substitute teacher’s assistant at the Katherine Thomas School. Kris has supported a diverse range of families in the metro area and has significant experience working with individuals diagnosed with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autism spectrum disorder (ASD).
Dedicated to a collaborative approach, Kris partners with treatment providers, clients, and families to empower individuals and foster growth. Kris is passionate about helping clients communicate their needs, develop social skills, navigate challenges, and achieve personal goals.
Outside of professional work, Kris enjoys reading, sewing, learning American Sign Language (ASL), playing video games, and spending time with her dog.
